2032A fantastic opportunity working and living with a Russian family in central Amsterdam. Two boys age 4 and 6 are looking for a full time live in nanny. On a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you will be working shorter hours of 3 – 9pm. On Saturday and Sunday your hours will be 7 – 6pm. Your hours may change during the school holidays. The family will also consider having a nanny work weekdays and one weekend day.Candidates need to have at least 12 years experience as a full time nanny.You will have your own bedroom and bathroom on the top foor of the canal house.The children attend full time international school in Amstelveen. Part of your job will be collecting the children from school.The ideal nanny will be warm, kind and creative. You need to have strong communications skills. It’s important you are proactive especially with planning fun engaging activities. The children are very active, love baking, doing crafts and imaginary play.The parents travel regularly therefore need a nanny happy to be on duty overnight a few times a month. It’s also important you are happy to travel with the family approximately three times a year.You need to be a team player as you will be working alongside a full time housekeeper. The housekeeper will also be living in the house. Your job will include preparing healthy organic meals for the boys and doing standard nursery duties.This role will be a mixture of shared care and sole charge. Candidates need to be confident using their initiative but happy working alongside the parents as they will be around.The family have a small dog.
